Why do some paver patios sink or heave?
Almost always a base problem. Frost lifts pavers set on thin or poorly compacted bases. We excavate to proper depth and compact granular in lifts so the surface stays flat through freeze–thaw.
Do paver joints need sand, and will weeds grow through?
We finish with polymeric sand, which hardens in the joints to resist weeds, ants and washout far better than plain sand.
Can you match pavers to my existing patio or walkway?
